Support them and many more by becoming a Literacy Ambassador! Together, we can do amazing things, and support comes in many forms.

Here’s how you can be a part of the GivingTuesday generosity movement:

Share about our programs in person, on social media, or via email. Tell people you know About Us and why you support us. Remind people that not only does literacy impact individuals and their health, jobs, and families, but it affects the health of our community as a whole in every way, economically and otherwise.

A compilation of the last three PIAAC (Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies) surveys from 2012, 2014, and 2017 show that 29% of adults in New Mexico have literacy skills at the lowest levels, and another 31% have level 2 proficiency. 40% of New Mexico adults have numeracy skills at the lowest levels, and another 30% have level 2 proficiency.
